The best AI pilot begins with a boring task.

AI + COPILOT

Start where the work repeats.

The most useful AI experiment may not look impressive in a demonstration. It might help a team prepare for a meeting, locate a policy, or turn a collection of notes into a first draft.

Repetition gives you something concrete to examine: who performs the task, what information it requires, and where time or judgment is being lost. It also gives you a baseline against which to compare a new approach.

Define the boundaries before the rollout.

Choose a small group, name an owner, and agree on what a good result looks like. Decide which outputs need human review and which information should remain outside the experiment. A pilot should produce evidence for a decision, even when that decision is to change direction.

Bring this question to your team: Which recurring task is useful enough to improve and contained enough to test responsibly?
